Hosted annually by R.E.A.CH. International, the Greenhouse Competitions is known for celebrating flavor and quality in greenhouse growing across the Essex County region — home to the largest greenhouse industry in North America.
SUNSET® impressed the judges with outstanding flavor, appearance, and overall quality, earning a total of 27 awards, with top honors in the following categories:

Chef’s Choice, Strawberry – Summer Delight™
Over the years, Mastronardi Produce® has won over 200 awards at the Leamington Greenhouse Competitions, evaluated by a panel of independent experts, including representatives from the Ontario Ministry of Agriculture, chefs, and retail produce professionals. This history of strong performance highlights Mastronardi’s commitment to consistent excellence from seed to shelf.

International, as net proceeds from the Greenhouse Competitions are used for R.E.A.CH.’s main project in Uganda, Africa, sponsoring over 70 children a year, providing education, clean water, health care, and community income projects.
