The company first began its partnership with Mooking, host of popular Cooking Channel show Man Fire Food, in 2015. Since that time, Roger has been an integral part of the team, developing new and innovative recipes and products.

SUNSET® Expands Local Canadian Year Round Production

Kingsville, ON (Aug 21, 2017) Mastronardi Produce is continuing to expand their local program, this time with an exclusive partnership with Golden Acre Farms. The greenhouse facility, located in Kingsville Ontario, will bring SUNSET® brand cucumbers to more Canadians year-round.

“This local partnership right here in Kingsville will enable us to reach more Canadian consumers and provide that fresh, local flavor, even in the middle of winter,” shared President and CEO Paul Mastronardi.

Currently the greenhouse grows approximately 21 acres of cucumbers, using advanced supplemental lighting to continue producing through the winter.

SUNSET® Adds Ohio Greenhouse to Local Program

Kingsville, ON (Aug 15, 2017) Mastronardi Produce and Golden Fresh Farms, located in Wapakoneta, Ohio, are pleased to announce an exclusive agreement between the two companies to bring Mastronardi’s SUNSET® brand produce to more consumers throughout the US. This will be the 5th state that the SUNSET® brand will be grown locally in, allowing the company to reach over 75% of the United States population, delivering a local flavorful fruit in less than a 10-hour drive.
